Have you ever visited a website and the website seems broken, or you get a message like this?
It is possible that the website is having a bad day, but more than likely, it’s the web browser you’re using.
If you’re using Internet Explorer, you are very likely to run into these problems. Internet Explorer is no longer supported by most websites, and can cause websites to not load properly. This makes the web-browsing experience much more difficult and a lot less fun!
Which web browser should I be using?
It really depends on what you’ll be doing when you’re on the net. For most people, the most consistent web browsers to use are Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. These web browsers are up-to-date with the freshest plugins that make your web browsing experience easy, speedy, and most importantly, secure!
Okay, I’ve downloaded a new web browser. What now?
After installing the web browser you just downloaded, you’ll want to change your default browser. The following is an easy step-by-step guide on how to do that:
1- If you’re on Windows, click the windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. From there, click the gear icon (Settings). If you’re on a Mac, follow this simple guide.
2- Next, you’ll want to click Apps.
3- Then, you’ll click Default Apps.
4- Scroll down, and you’ll find Web Browser. From there, select the new web browser you’ve downloaded and Voila! You’ve now reset your default browser.
