Time and time again, we see our client’s results really start to jump after about that 3-month mark. In month one, we’re learning what the targeted audience is responding to. Through tweaks and optimizations, responses improve, and Google has enough data to accurately predict which ads will perform best for each user.
After 3 months, results can exponentially improve. In the below client example, you can see how clickthrough rate (CTR) really jumped after the 90-day mark. While the clickthrough rate was always above industry average, the campaign interaction really shot up as we learned and made tweaks to messaging, images and targeting.
Below is another client example of how CTR jumped after remaining steady for 3 months. During those first 3 months, impressions continued to increase meeting our client’s goal of increased awareness, but the interaction rate really improved with the availability of ample data to inform our optimizations.
The cool thing about digital marketing is that you can learn a lot in a short amount of time! We know fairly quickly which messages and images are being clicked on.
